NEXT WEEK! - Exhibition Opening Thursday and Walking Tour Saturday
ReVision: The Future of Santa Fe Style at the Santa Fe Community Gallery
ReVision: The Future of Santa Fe Style Exhibition
Thursday, June 5th 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Santa Fe Community Gallery // 201 W. Marcy Street
Our exhibition opening at the Santa Fe Community Gallery is one week away!
Inspired by the visionary New-Old Santa Fe Exhibition and Architectural Prize Contests of 1912–1913, this exhibition is both an invitation and a provocation to imagine Santa Fe’s future. In March 2025, Friends of Architecture Santa Fe, with support from the City’s Arts and Culture Department, hosted over 50 participants in a half-day design charrette aimed at envisioning a Santa Fe decades from now.
Participants critically examined a range of “used futures” and used speculative design techniques—AI image generation, future fiction writing, spatial design, and more—to craft scenarios and artifacts from a range of possible futures.
The work presented in this exhibition offers glimpses into those imagined futures—opening a space for community dialogue, creativity, and dreaming about the future that Santa Fe’s next General Plan might help shape.
Complimentary drinks and light refreshments will be provided.
This exhibition is sponsored by the City of Santa Fe Arts and Culture Department.
